What is a Private Cloud?

A private cloud is like a public cloud, but all the infrastructure is stored in a closed internal environment will all resources completely dedicated to you. Private clouds incorporate a set of dedicated servers, with a virtualisation layer running on top, allowing you to create and manage multiple virtual servers within a set of physical dedicated servers.

Private cloud environments offer higher security levels and provide flexibility and scalability. This makes them ideal for projects where data security or 'always on availability' is paramount.
